Max,
2 months as a big brother, and for the most part you are doing great! There's the occasional head butt, kick, hug that lasts a little too long, swinging him a little too hard, shaking his bouncer one too many times, and sometimes a little fit if momma has to feed, change, or give any attention to Tagg at all. But, there's also the concern you have in your face when you hear Tagg cry, the sweet little way you say Taaaa when you see him, and the way you lay your head gently on his. I think you are the perfect big brother. Tagg is a lucky little guy to have you watching out for him!
You are getting so big and talking so much. From the very early mornings when I hear you coming toward my room calling mama, mama, mama, to you saying juice, juice, banket, banket ( you are still attached to the Christmas blanket Aunt Bonnie made), to throughout the day when you hear a car go by or an animal make a noise outside and you say what's that or who's that? The constant Where's daddy when daddy leaves for work or mommy (your name for Grammy)....I love to hear your little voice laughing, even squealing!
You are giving big bear hugs and pulling my head to your chest, saying bites 24/7 because you think you want something to eat though nothing I give you hits the spot :) You are still loving the outdoors and would do anything to go for a walk or play outside at Granddaddy's and Grammy's while Jack drives you and Jude around in his gator!
You are so curious and love to stand on the window seat and wave to the cars and people who go by! You love to look at the squirrels outside in the trees and make a loud lion roar if someone is asleep.
You are wanting to do everything by yourself from putting your shoes on to eating your yogurt. I'm not ready for all this independence you want! You still love music and will move your head from side to side every time you hear a song on the radio or on tv. I hope your love of music never fades...maybe you will learn to play an instrument someday.
You can give a fist bump, a high five, and even tell Tagg to shhh if he is crying. I can't believe how much you've grown and how much you are learning. I love how inquisitive you are, how loving you can be, and how the simplest of things make you happy! You are one of a kind and my favorite little one year old.
I love you so much, Maxman
Mama
