On the move

Max,

The weather is getting warmer, and you are loving it outside!  Maybe a little too much.  I'm having trouble keeping up with you out there.  You are determined to go in the opposite direction of everyone else who may be outside.  Then, when we do have to come inside, you run to the front door, and reach as high as you can to grab the doorknob!  You are something else, and you make sure to keep me on my toes.

Since the last time I wrote to you, you had a new baby cousin join us.  Baby Jace Andrew was born on March 9.  We had Easter pictures made that day in McKenzie, and we got the call when we got back into town that Aunt Christy was in the hospital and having contractions.  Not long after, we all got to meet baby Jace.  You aren't too sure about him, and you definitely don't like mommy holding him.  You and I got to watch baby Jace for about an hour one evening while Christy, Jack, and Jude went to wal-mart.  You were a basket case the entire time he was here, which got me a little worried about baby #2.

I am a little over 29 weeks pregnant today, and even though baby brother isn't due until June 22, if I had to guess, I would say he is coming at the end of May.  And, your daddy and I cannot agree on a name.  I wanted to name him Mitt, but daddy just is not having it.  To be honest, I thought he would give in, but it is not happening.  So, we have to decide soon!

I'm so excited that you will be a big brother.  I know you have so many things to show and teach him already.  What a blessing you are and what a blessing you will be to your little brother!

Things you love: chocolate!  You have always been a healthy eater, but mommy had to have some chocolate during this pregnancy, and man, you couldn't resist.  So, maybe you did inherit one thing from me.  You also love the outdoors, and I think you are going to be an animal lover.  I may have to break down and get you a pet one of these days :)  You love to pet Cam at Granddaddy's and Grammy's.  You love to ride! ....Jack's tractor, Granddaddy's pug, and anything with wheels.  Cheerios!  You just can't get enough.  You know right where they are supposed to be at home and in the car!  You are just so much fun!

I love you so, so much.  Every day is better with you in it.

Love,
Mama
